Yoga Sūtra Chapter Three verse 54

तारकं सर्वविषयं सर्वथाविषयमक्रमं चेति विवेकजं ज्ञानम् ॥५४॥

tārakaṃ sarva-viṣayaṃ sarvathā-viṣayam-akramaṃ ca-iti viveka-jaṃ jñānam ||54||

Thus knowing born of discrimination,
liberating all objects, objects in every way and non-sequential.

tāraka - liberatingsarva - whole, entire, all, every one; altogether, wholly, completely, in all parts, everywhereviṣaya - an object of sense; anything perceptible by the senses; any object of affection or concern or attentionsarvathā - in every way, at all timesakrama - non-sequential; not happening successively, happening at onceca - anditi - thus; in this manner; something that has been said or thought; having so saidviveka - discrimination, discernment; the faculty of distinguishing and classifying things according to their real properties; the power of separating the invisible Spirit from the visible world (or spirit from matter); truth from untruthja - born or descended from; produced or caused by; arises out ofjñāna - knowing; knowledge; higher knowledge
