Gītārtha Saṃgraha verse 10
yoga-abhyāsa-vidhiḥ yogi caturdhā yoga-sādhanam ।
yoga-siddhiḥ sva-yogasya pāramyaṃ ṣaṣṭa ucyate ॥
yoga - the act of yoking, joining, attaching, harnessing; a yoke, team, vehicle, conveyance; employment, use, application, performance; a means, expedient, device, way, manner, methodabhyāsa - practice; the effort of the mind to remain in its unmodified condition of purity ; repeated or permanent exercise, discipline, use, habit, custom;vidhi - a worshipper, one who does homage; a rule, formula, injunction, ordinance, statute, precept, law, direction;any prescribed act or rite or ceremony; method, manner or way of acting, mode of life, conduct, behaviouryogin - a follower of the yoga systemcaturdhā - in four parts, fourfoldsiddhi - accomplishment, performance, fulfilment, attainment, success; the hitting of a mark; coming into force, validity; any unusual skill or faculty or capability; the acquisition of supernatural powers by magical means or the faculty so acquiredsādhana - means to accomplish; leading straight to a goal; guiding well; furthering; propitiation, worship, adorationsva - own; one's self, one's own, my own, thy own, his own, her own, our own, their ownparama - highest, supreme, chief; the supreme or absolute being, the universal soul; mostṣaṣṭa - sixth; the sixtiethucyate - be spoken or said, or told, or uttered
