रसोऽहमप्सु कौन्तेय प्रभास्मि शशिसूर्ययो: ।
प्रणव: सर्ववेदेषु शब्द: खे पौरुषं नृषु ॥ ८ ॥

raso ’ham apsu kāunteya prabhāsmi śaśisūryayoḥ |
praṇavaḥ sarvavedeṣu śabdaḥ khe pāuruṣaṃ nṛṣu ||

praṇava - sacred syllable; the syllable that gives life; the mystical name of the deity; the mystical or sacred syllable om; name of the trinityśabda - words, sound, language
