Bhagavad Gītā Chapter Two verse 63

krodhād bhavati saṃmohaḥ saṃmohāt smṛtivibhramaḥ |
smṛtibhraṃśād buddhināśo buddhināśāt praṇaśyati ||

krodha - angerbuddhi - the intellectual faculty; comprehension; intelligence, discernment, judgementsmṛti - remembrance; memory; mindfulness; the whole body of sacred tradition or what is remembered by human teachers and constantly revisedsaṃmoha - bewilderment; stupefaction; insensibility, unconsciousness; folly, illusion of mind
