108 Postural Practice Pointers – 82 – When working with the inhalation in prone backbend Āsana…

When working with the inhalation
in prone backbend Āsana, observe
if it ‘escapes’ and is experienced
through distending the abdomen,
rather than extending the upper chest.

In other words, watch out for the ‘as if’
beach ball effect in the abdomen, as you
experience the inhale distending the belly
rather than extending the upper chest.
